Fairford is located in the heart of Gloucestershire with a rapidly growing population (last recorded population was 3,236 in 2011 Census). With the town resting on the River Coln, East of Cirencester it is ideally situated as a town you would want to visit with many great attractions and events (of course including the Annual Festival).

Cotswold Water Park
Fairford is located in heart of the Cotswold Water Park and therefore there are plenty of opportunities to do water-skiing, wake boarding and a whole host more water based activities while visiting the town.
Royal International Air Tattoo
For 3 days every year in June/July RAF Fairford hosts the Royal International Air Tattoo which is the worlds largest military air show – the event typically attracts over 150k visitors to the town. On show in recent years have been the latest aviation technological advancements including the F35 Lightning most recently displayed.

Avebury and Stonehenge
Approximately 45 minutes drive from Fairford is the World Heritage Site of Avebury. This is a popular day trip from Fairford and if you wanted to take a further 45 minutes drive you could continue on to Stonehenge. Fairford is a great base for not only experiencing the wonderful Cotswold’s but also seeing some of the wonderful history on offer in the UK. Typical visitors to the UK will take a tour from London to Stonehenge, Windsor and Bath but you don’t have to be in London to experience these – Fairford is a great bases to see them from.
